The storage of semi-finished eyeshadow products is managed through measures designed to prevent moisture absorption and contamination, control temperature, and avoid separation or deterioration, thereby ensuring the stability of the powder system and the quality of subsequent processing.

Moisture-Controlled Storage
Semi-finished eyeshadows typically consist of powder or oil-containing powder structures, making them highly sensitive to humidity; upon absorbing moisture, they are prone to clumping or experiencing compromised color payoff. Consequently, they should be stored in a dry environment-ideally with humidity levels maintained at a low range-and kept in sealed containers or moisture-proof packaging. If necessary, desiccants may be included during storage to further safeguard the product.

Light Protection and Temperature Control
Certain semi-finished products containing oils or pearlescent pigments are susceptible to oxidation or a loss of luster when exposed to high temperatures or intense light. Therefore, it is recommended to store them in a cool, well-ventilated environment with stable temperatures, avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat to minimize any adverse changes in color or texture.

Contamination Prevention and Segregated Storage
Semi-finished products of different colors or distinct formulations should be stored separately to prevent cross-contamination or color bleeding. Furthermore, dedicated tools should be utilized when handling these materials to prevent the inadvertent introduction of moisture, oils, or impurities, which could compromise the subsequent pressing process and the final product's performance. For containers that have already been opened, storage duration should be minimized to ensure continued product quality and stability.
